What will your kids build today?

Every masterpiece starts with the same few pieces.

This gallery belongs to the kids. You won't find any cold studio photography here. These are real builds from real homes. Take a look around, steal an idea for your own living room, and show us what your little architects have been up to.

Ideas from the Foamoh community

A FoamOh! set is less like a couch and more like a tool for a child's best ideas. From the first wobbly climb to the most complex secret headquarters, here is how our community is making the most of their space.

Two children building a fort from a pink FoamOh Castle Sofa in a playroom.
A young boy in a gray t-shirt and navy shorts pushes a dark gray recliner chair in a living room with wooden floors and a staircase in the background.
A child in a red shirt and green shorts lies on a mattress stacked on top of a wooden bed frame in a child's bedroom. The room contains a wooden dresser, a window with blue curtains, and various toys and furniture.
Three children wearing pink party hats play inside colorful FoamOh blocks - foam playhouses in a classroom or playroom setting.
Two young children sitting on a green FoamOh castle sofa, drawing in a spiral notebook on the floor between them in a bright room with large windows.
A young girl stands in a child's bedroom playing with a large pink foam house structure made of soft play blocks. The room has a window with white curtains, a bed with pink floral bedding, and additional pink foam play pieces on the floor.
Two children sitting inside large cardboard teepee playhouses on a dark sleeping bag in a bright room, with a small lantern between them.
A young child sits between two padded foam blocks in a gym-like setting with a light wood paneled wall and dark wood floor. The Foamoh building blocks are upholstered in light gray and pale pink fabric.

Inspiration for every stage of play

Every child sees the world differently. The best setup is simply the one that makes them want to start moving.

The Early Explorers (6 to 18 Months)

Tummy time is a lot more interesting on a soft surface. At this stage, it is all about sensory discovery. Think low-to-the-ground pads for crawling and sturdy edges to help them pull themselves up for the very first time.

The Stackers (18 Months to 3 Years)

This is the age of constant motion. Flat pieces become mountains to scale. Two blocks pushed together become a car or a cave for a game of hide and seek. It is the beginning of the "I can do it myself".

The Fort Architects (3 to 5 Years)

Welcome to the golden age of the castle. The blankets come out, the "Keep Out" signs go up, and the rules of the kingdom are strictly enforced. Builds get taller and the stories behind them get a lot more detailed.

The Big Idea Crew (5 to 8 Years)

The ambition hits a new level here. We are talking multi-room structures and intricate obstacle courses. The foam stays the same but the engineering gets a lot more impressive.

We made these for you

Think of these as friendly suggestions rather than a set of rules. We are willing to bet your kids will have a better idea within five minutes of opening the box, but these guides help you get the foundation right.

Show us what they built

This gallery is always growing. Every week we see photos of configurations we never even dreamed of. If your child built something they are proud of, we want to celebrate it. Tag @foamohfoam on Instagram. Your build might just inspire the next family or find its way onto our official product pages.
