Built different. Here is why it matters.
Here's what makes FoamOh great.
There are plenty of foam play couches out there today. In many ways, that is a great thing, it means more kids are getting away from screens and into their imaginations. But it also means the quality gap has become huge, and "play-room" marketing can make everything sound the same.
We would rather just show you the raw specs of a FoamOh set and let you decide what is best for your home.
Furniture-grade foam. Not play-couch grade.
Most play products use foam that is light enough to keep shipping costs down but soft enough to feel okay at first touch. FoamOh is different. We use furniture-grade foam with a 1.5 lb density and a 40 ILD rating, the same standard used in high-end sofas and mattresses built for adults.
The difference is simple: our foam holds its shape. It doesn't go flat after six months of being a landing pad. A FoamOh! castle bought today will feel exactly the same years from now.
U.S.-made foam. Assembled in Milan, Tennessee.
Every single piece of our foam is manufactured right here in the United States. The final assembly happens in Milan, Tennessee, by a team that has been perfecting this craft for years.
This isn't just a "Made in the USA" badge for our marketing. It is about control. By keeping production local, we can personally oversee every batch of foam and every stitch.
No flame-retardant chemicals. Full stop.
Safety is non-negotiable. All FoamOh foam passes the strict California TB-117 flammability standard, but we do it differently. Many products on the market meet this standard by adding flame-retardant chemicals to the foam.
FoamOh contains zero FRCs. Our foam passes the test on its own merits.
Covers that actually handle the wash.
Play is messy, and a damp cloth can only do so much. Every FoamOh cover unzips completely and is safe for the washing machine. Just use cold water, a mild detergent, and hang them to dry.
This isn't a premium upgrade. It is a standard feature across our entire line.
Designed to scale with their imagination.
A FoamOh set isn't something kids outgrow by kindergarten. We sized these pieces so a toddler can move them independently, but we made the foam dense enough that an eight-year-old can build a stable, two-story tower.
